We know that everyone here at Veolia can help us work alongside our communities, look after the environment, and contribute to our inclusive culture.\n\nWhat we can offer you;\n\n25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays\n \nAccess to our company pension scheme\n \nFree physiotherapy service \n \nDiscounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers\n \nAccess to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to\n \nOngoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential\n\nWhat you'll be doing;\n\nPlan and deliver preventative maintenance programs, overhauls, and planned shutdowns while managing budgets and minimising downtime\n \nRespond to emergency breakdowns using diagnostic expertise to identify root causes and implement effective solutions quickly\n \nManage and coordinate maintenance subcontractors, ensuring compliance with site procedures and quality requirements\n \nMonitor and maintain strict adherence to health & safety legislation, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems\n \nMaintain accurate maintenance records, audit trails, and equipment histories using CMMS, plus manage spares inventory and stock control\n\nWhat we're looking for;\n\nTime-served engineer with completed apprenticeship and City & Guilds OR NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (ideally mechanical bias)\n \nManufacturing/production background in medium to heavy engineering - processing plants, production facilities, or recycling operations \n \nHydraulics expertise - hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic systems and components\n \nMobile plant experience - working with conveyors, material handling systems, automated machinery, or production equipment\n \nMulti-skilled capability (desirable) - background in both mechanical AND electrical engineering disciplines\n \nFull UK driving licence - occasional travel to other sites may be required\n\nWhat's next?\n\nApply today, so we can make a difference for to come.\n\nWe're proud to have been named as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for three consecutive years in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
