Job Description

A well-established company in the Pickering area are looking for a good Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the business. The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be working on a Monday to Thursday days role. 

 

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

 

    \n
  • Perform Statutory and Preventative Maintenance on Plant and Equipment.
  • \n

  • Responding to plant breakdowns and diagnose faults on plant and equipment.
  • \n

  • Carry out Plant Repairs, rebuilds as required.
  • \n

  • Manufacture replacement parts as / if required - lathe / milling experience .
  • \n

  • Assist in plant and equipment installation in line with design specifications.
  • \n

  • Use portable plant and power tools correctly.
  • \n

  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
  • \n

  • Follow company safety systems and work protocol.
  • \n

The salary is advertised as £36k - £40k, this is made up of up to £17.55 an hour with additional paid overtime. Working 40 hours a week.
