Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias – Days)
Salary: £45,000 + overtime + benefits
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – Days

About the Company
We’re a well-established FMCG manufacturer producing high-quality products for leading brands and retailers. Due to continued investment and site expansion, we’re looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our maintenance team on a day shift basis.

The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring all site equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be working across a range of automated production and packaging machinery, focusing on electrical fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
Diagnose and repair faults on conveyors, motors, sensors, and control panels.
Perform PPM activities in line with site schedules and engineering standards.
Support improvement projects, installations, and equipment upgrades.
Ensure all work complies with health & safety and food hygiene standards.
Collaborate closely with production and operations teams to minimise downtime.
About You
Time-served or qualified to Level 3 or higher in Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering.
Proven maintenance experience in a FMCG, food, or manufacturing environment.
Strong electrical fault-finding ability – PLC experience (Siemens/Allen Bradley) desirable.
Good understanding of mechanical systems, including pneumatics and hydraulics.
Self-motivated, hands-on engineer with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
