Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a well-established fresh produce manufacturing business to recruit a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) for their site in Nottinghamshire.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced FMCG environment where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving site performance within a modern production facility. You’ll be responsible for supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, and contributing to continuous improvement across the engineering function.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment\n\n * Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently and safely\n\n * Support engineering-led improvement projects to enhance reliability and reduce downtime\n\n * Work closely with Production, Technical, and Engineering teams to maintain smooth operations\n\n * Assist with root cause analysis and long-term fault resolution\n\n * Ensure all maintenance work is completed in line with health & safety and site procedures\n\n * Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation\n\n * Support installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment when required\n\nOn Offer\n\n * Salary: Up to £45,000\n\n * 11-hour shift pattern (Week 1: Sunday–Tuesday | Week 2: Sunday–Wednesday)\n\n * Rotating days and backs\n\n * Opportunity to join a growing fresh produce business with ongoing investment in engineering and automation
