Job Description
As a maintenance engineer, you’ll be the go-to specialist when site teams need additional support. You’ll work both remotely and on-site to resolve complex issues and minimise downtime.\n\nYour work will include:\n\n * PLC fault finding across multiple platforms (Training provided)\n\n * Electrical fault diagnosis and problem solving\n\n * Supporting wider machinery and production issues\n\n * Remote troubleshooting and on-site breakdown response\n\nThis is an ideal opportunity for a maintenance engineer who enjoys variety and problem-solving across different environments.\n\nWorking Pattern\n\n * Monday to Friday – Days only\n\n * 1 in 5 call out\n\n * Home-based with travel to client sites\n\n * Flexible, trust-based working environment\n\nPackage & Benefits\n\n * Private healthcare\n\n * 33 days holiday\n\n * Choice of car or van (personal use allowed)\n\n * Call out & standby payments\n\n * Overtime paid outside core hours\n\n * Strong training and development support\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * Background as a maintenance engineer or service engineer\n\n * Electrical qualifications\n\n * PLC experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi)\n\n * Strong fault-finding skills across controls, electrical, and machinery\n\n * A proactive maintenance engineer mindset with the ability to solve complex issues independently\n\nProgression & Development\n\nThis role offers genuine long-term growth.
