Shifts: 4 on 4 off pattern - 2 Days & 2 Nights

About the Role

\n

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with both electrical and mechanical expertise to join our team. This role involves carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Work is both reactive and planned maintenance activities.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding, diagnosis and repair
  • \n

  • Working on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, sensors, inverters and control panels
  • \n

  • Supporting machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • \n

  • Planning and carrying out preventative maintenance during quieter production periods
  • \n

  • Ensuring smooth and safe operations
  • \n

  • Continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
  • \n

About You

\n

The ideal candidate will:

\n

    \n
  • Be a fully multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • \n

  • Have experience within planned and reactive maintenance
  • \n

  • Ideally have worked within food production or FMCG environments
  • \n

  • Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • \n

\n

\n

Key Skills/Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Engineering
  • \n

  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills (motors, drives, PLCs - basic interrogation )
  • \n

  • Solid mechanical maintenance experience
  • \n

  • Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • \n
