Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Frome who is actively looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer t to join the team on a permanent basis.What you will be doing:Reporting to the Lead engineer, you will be working within our FMCG production facility:Attend machine breakdowns efficiently and provide effective measures to ensure issues are resolvedCarry out PPM, corrective and improvement actions on all packing and process machinesUse continuous improvement techniques and best practice to improve machine efficiencies.Deliver and develop effective re-active maintenance, repairs & improvementsTo have overall responsibility for maintaining efficient operation of the process equipmentTo ensure that other than planned downtime the processing plant is available and running at optimum levels at all times.Ensure that the product that we produce is of the highest standard by not compromising the process plant with short term fixesWhat you will need to succeed:Multi-skilled automation skills on packing equipment or equivalentExcellent fault finding and route cause analysis skillsExperience of working in a FMCG environmentSome supervisory experience would be beneficialComfortable in autonomous decision making and team workingWhat you will receive in return:£52,590.00 per yearPitman 12 hour shiftMarket Leader in their products and sector, strong growth plansCompany pension 6%* employer contribution18 days holiday + Bank holidays4 x Death in ServiceLong service recognitionWellbeing initiatives - Free flu jabs, free eye tests, £90 contribution to prescription lenses, free legal and financial helpline and mental health support, virtual GPWhat you need to do next:If this position sounds of interest and you would like to be considered.
