Job Description
Position : Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician\n\nShifts : Days only\n\nHours : 47.5 per week\n\nBias : Electrical or multi-skilled\n\nLocation : Southampton\n\nEnvironment : Manufacturing\n\nSalary : £42,500 to £45,000 according to experience\n\nAbout the role of a Maintenance Engineer / Technician in a Manufacturing Plant in Southampton :\n\nMaintain, service and repair all production equipment on site\nAssist with the maintenance of all ancillary equipment / facilities across the site.\nDevelop, implement, and adhere to a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule.\nRespond to equipment breakdowns and call-outs, recording and reporting on faults to identify trends\nCarry out general site maintenance and engineering projects as required\nSupport continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives where required\nEnsure full compliance health and safety requirements, and with internal and external quality standards.About You\n\nHolds a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671).\nProven experience within a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment\nStrong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.\nA knowledge of PLC systems and control panels is \nFull UK driving licence and own transport Working hours are days only Monday to Friday\n\nKey Words : Maintenance Engineer, Southampton\n\nAbout Us\n\nWe are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
