Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer\n\nCorby\n\n£45,000\n\nMon-fri days + nights (rotating weekly)\n\n25 days + banks\nOvertime at x1.5 & x2\n14% pension scheme\nDiscount platformI'm working on a rare opportunity with a business in Corby who has a very low staff turnover and a strong PPM schedule in place to reduce reactive breakdowns and increase machinery performance and efficiency. Working alongside a team, this role will provide variety as well as structure.\n\nRoles/Responsibilities\n\nCarry out planned and preventative maintenance on a weekly basis\nProvide mechanical and/or electrical fault finding and repair on production/processing machinery\nSupport production by ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently\nUndertake general site maintenance and first-line repairs\nLiaise with external contractors for specialist or major repair work when required\nMaintain and repair Lamination lines, wrappers, moulding machinery, peelers, granulators, shredders, splicers and baggers.What We're Looking For\n\nA multiskilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience\nA recognized engineering qualification\nExperience in an industrial sector\nAvailability to work night shiftsFAQs:\n\nHow often is the night shift?\nThis role includes a day shifts (6am-2pm) mon-fri and a nights shift (8pm-6am) Mon-thurs rotating weekly\nHow is overtime paid?\nOvertime is paid at a rate of x1.5 if done during the week or on a Saturday and paid at double time if completed on a Sunday or Bank Holiday.\nHow soon can I get started?\nThis company is looking to interview in early January and will involve a maximum of 2 stages.\nIs this role suitable for my bias?\nThis role is open to people with both an electrical or mechanical bias.
