Maintenance Engineer – Nights
Telford | Manufacturing | Permanent Nights (4 per week)
Up to £48,000 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits
Reporting to: Engineering Manager

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer who prefers the rhythm of night shifts - when the site’s quieter, problems are yours to own, and you can make a real impact keeping production running smoothly.
You’ll be part of a skilled, supportive engineering team that keeps high-performance manufacturing equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production machinery.

Troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues (roughly 50/50 bias).
*
Keeping accurate maintenance records and ensuring all work meets Health & Safety and quality standards.
*
Supporting machine upgrades, installations, and improvement projects.
*
Working with production to reduce downtime and boost reliability.
*
Maintaining a clean, organised workshop and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
*
Multi-skilled engineer with solid mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
*
Background in manufacturing or production environments.
*
Confident working independently during night shifts.
*
Good communicator, team-minded, and proactive in problem-solving.
*
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
Desirable Extras
*
18th Edition wiring regulations certification.
*
Experience in lean / continuous improvement environments (BRC, ISO, etc.).
*
Familiarity with automated or packaging machinery is a bonus.
