We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Permanent Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Swindon, Wiltshire. Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer\n

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues early

\n

• Create and follow preventive maintenance schedules to keep equipment running at peak performance

\n

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures swiftly and efficiently

\n

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades

\n

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimise processes and improve machine reliability

\n

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and operational procedures

\n

Who will fit in well:\n

• Solid experience in Mechanical Engineering and maintenance practices

\n

• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems

\n

• Knowledge of PLCs, HVAC, and automation systems is a plus

\n

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset

\n

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

• Ready to work day shifts from 6pm to 6am on a rotating 4 days on, 4 days off basis
