Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a role that will invest in you with specialist training budgets and also progression routes to senior and even director level?\n\nIf so a client of mine that is a leading name in advanced manufacturing is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its highly skilled Engineering team based at a flagship facility in Walsall.\n\nThis is a brilliant opportunity for an engineer to step into a technically varied, hands-on role at a company that invests heavily in training, encourages cross-site collaboration, and offers outstanding overtime pay and benefits.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n\nWorking on a modern, high-volume manufacturing site, you’ll be responsible for:\n\n * Delivering routine and preventive maintenance across a wide range of engineering systems and equipment\n\n * Rapidly diagnosing and proposing solutions to breakdowns and failures\n\n * Improving performance, efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness across all engineering activities\n\n * Using engineering software (including CMMS) to plan and manage maintenance\n\n * Supporting design modifications and contributing to new tooling and electrical/mechanical system development\n\n * Working closely with other UK engineering sites to share best practice\n\n * Maintaining documentation, CAD drawings, parts control, and compliance with key industry standards (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, 50001, 1090-CE)\n\nWhat You'll Need\n\n * HNC/City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering (essential)\n\n * Latest electrical qualifications (18th edition or equivalent)\n\n * Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment\n\n * Multi-skilled background\n\nWhat’s in It for You?\n\n * Salary: £45,240 per annum\n\n * Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts between 6am- 2pm or 2pm -10pm)\n\n * Overtime: Paid at enhanced rates – x1.3 weekdays, x1.5 Saturdays, x2 Sundays\n\n * Bonus Scheme: Annual divisional performance bonus\n\n * Holiday: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays\n\n * Pension: 6% employer / 4% employee contribution\n\n * Training: Significant training budget for career development\n\nJoin a company where engineering is at the heart of operations and where you're encouraged to think innovatively, challenge the norm, and make a real impact on performance and safety.\n\nApply Now!\n\nJob Type: Full-time
