gap technical are proud to be partnering with a leading Manufacturing business in their search for a Multi Skilled Contract Maintenance Engineer to support ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:

- Respond efficiently to equipment breakdowns across production areas.
- Carry out planned and proactive maintenance on a wide range of machinery.
- Diagnose faults using technical documentation and machine history.
- Work collaboratively with production teams and support staff.
- Assist and train operational staff on minor maintenance tasks.
- Ensure machinery is maintained to high standards to reduce downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.

Ideal Candidate:

- Time-served Engineering Apprenticeship ().
- Strong mechanical skills, ideally multi-skilled.
- Previous experience in Food / FMCG / Packaging sectors is advantageous.
- Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
