Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Dunstable, Milton keynes, Luton, Bedford, Leighton Buzzard, Buckingham Northampton

Shift: 4 on, 4 off - Days & Nights

Salary: Up to £53,000 per year

Are you a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? Join a well-established food production company in Milton Keynes and play a key role in keeping their high-performance operations running smoothly.

What the Role Involves

As part of the maintenance team, you will:

·Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on a range of production equipment.

·Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems quickly to minimise downtime.

·Work with pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves, ovens, mixers, pressure systems, and refrigeration.

·Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to avoid breakdowns.

·Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations.

What We're Looking For

·Strong experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, ideally in food production or manufacturing.

·Knowledge of PLC systems and continuous improvement/PPM practices.

·Qualifications such as BTEC/ONC in Electrical Engineering or a time-served apprenticeship/HNC in electrical, mechanical, or production maintenance.

·A proactive, problem-solving mindset to keep production running efficiently.
