Job Description

Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical Bias)
Days Role | £39,100 + Overtime | OTE £50,000
Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:00 | Friday 8:00-15:00

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business experiencing continued growth. Due to expansion within the engineering department, they are looking to add a skilled Maintenance Engineer to their team on a permanent days basis.

\n\nThe Role\n

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• \n

  Electrical or Mechanical fault finding and repair

  \n

\n

• \n

  PLC fault finding (Siemens / Allen Bradley)

  \n

\n

• \n

  Maintenance of hydraulics and pneumatics systems

  \n

\n

• \n

  Servicing and repair of pumps and valves

  \n

\n

• \n

  Welding and fabrication work when required

  \n

\n

• \n

  Working on boilers, rollers, converting lines and conveyors

  \n

\n

• \n

  Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns

  \n

\n

• \n

  Supporting continuous improvement across site

  \n

\n

\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n

\n
• \n

  Apprentice trained (Mechanical or Electrical)

  \n

\n

• \n

  Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment

  \n

\n

• \n

  Strong fault-finding skills

  \n

\n

• \n

  Comfortable working independently on a days-based role

  \n

\n

• \n

  Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  \n

\n

  Salary: £39,100

  \n

\n

• \n

  Overtime: 1.5x weekdays / 2x Sundays

  \n

\n

• \n

  OTE: £50,000 +

  \n

\n

• \n

  Holidays: 25 days + Bank Holidays
