Job DescriptionMaintenance Engineer – NightsHavant£50,000 - £55,200PermanentAre you a Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical, mechanical and fault-finding skills looking for a site-based night-shift opportunity? Join an established manufacturing environment where you will provide hands-on engineering support, maintain production equipment and help drive reliability and continuous improvement. This is a site-based Maintenance Engineer role working nights from Sunday to Thursday, supporting production and ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and available. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair production machinery, equipment, tools, jigs and fixtures.Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and equipment faults.Provide technical support, mentoring and guidance to Maintenance Technicians.Maintain accurate maintenance and calibration records through the CMMS.Monitor equipment performance, including MTBF, MTTR and OEE.Identify and implement improvements to equipment reliability and performance.Support engineering teams with equipment and process improvements.Produce and report maintenance KPIs and planned improvement activity.Skills & Knowledge RequiredTime-served and/or HNC-qualified in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.3+ years' production experience in a similar Maintenance Engineer role.Ability to read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic drawings and schematics.Strong electrical, electronic, mechanical and fault-finding knowledge.Experience with PLCs, sensors, vision systems and test equipment.Experience applying Lean techniques within volume manufacturing.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.Robotics, conveyors, hydraulics and 18th Edition experience are desirable.Working Hours:Sunday 10:30pm–6:00am;Monday–Thursday 10:00pm–6:00am, with a 30-minute unpaid break.Benefits:Employee bonus schemePension with 10.5% employer contribution, subject to conditionsHealthcare support, including BUPA for eligible employeesLife insuranceLong-service awards and additional holidayTraining and professional developmentElectric/hybrid vehicle lease planFree parking and subsidised canteen25 days' holiday plus bank holidays.TPBN1_UKTJ
