About the Role
H-Seventeen are recruiting on behalf of a leading food production company who continue to grow and invest heavily in their site. We’re now looking for an experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, supporting continuous improvement projects, and keeping essential production lines running to the highest standards.
What you’ll be doing
* Electrical fault finding and repair across fast-paced production machinery
* Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvement initiatives
* Working with PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, control panels and power distribution systems
* Supporting breakdowns to minimise downtime and maximise output
* Collaborating with mechanical and production teams on cross-functional projects
* Ensuring compliance with all electrical safety and food safety standards
What you’ll bring
* Electrical qualifications (apprenticeship, NVQ3, HNC/HND or equivalent)
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills and practical engineering experience
* Previous maintenance engineering experience in food/FMCG or manufacturing
* Ability to work across a variety of shifts
* Proactive, safety-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
