Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Plumbing Bias)\n\n * Do you have previous experience in a facilities or maintenance role with a plumbing bias?\n\n * Do you want to work in a supportive environment where you are recognised and rewarded for your contribution?\n\nWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer with a plumbing bias to join a well-established Facilities Management provider operating across a predominantly commercial property portfolio.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumber who has transitioned into a building services maintenance environment and is confident working across commercial properties.\n\nIf you take pride in high-quality workmanship, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a professional, team-focused environment — we’d love to hear from you.\n\nLocation: London & M25 Corridor\nSalary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Paid Travel + Overtime\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent\nSector: Facilities Management / Building Services / Commercial Maintenance\n\nThe Role\n\nThis is a mobile position covering London and the surrounding areas within and around the M25.\n\nYou’ll be responsible for a mix of:\n\n * Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)\n\n * Reactive repairs\n\n * Compliance & statutory testing\n\n * Minor mechanical works\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nInstall, repair and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, valves, fixtures, drainage and water supply systems\n\nDiagnose faults such as leaks, blockages and system failures, providing efficient, long-lasting solutions\n\nWork on hot and cold water systems, pumps, valves and general mechanical plant room equipment\n\nCarry out compliance tasks including:\n\nRead and interpret technical drawings and building plans\n\nEnsure all work complies with current building regulations and health & safety standards\n\nWork collaboratively with other engineers and trades across commercial sites\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent experience)\n\nExperience working within a commercial maintenance or FM environments\n\nConfident carrying out both plumbing and general building services maintenance\n\nStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skills\n\nProfessional communication skills when dealing with clients and site contacts\n\nExperience working in plant rooms and mechanical building services\n\nReliable, proactive and self-motivated\n\nFull UK driving licence\n\nPackage & Benefits\n\n * Basic salary £40,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience)\n\n * Company vehicle\n\n * Ongoing training & development\n\n * Uniform and PPE\n\n * Specialist tools and equipment\n\n * Structured travel payment system\n\n * 1 hour travel paid in the morning\n\n * 1 hour travel paid in the evening\n\n * Return journey paid subject to completion of standard 8-hour day\n\n * Overtime opportunities\n\nWhy Apply?\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing building services provider with a strong commercial portfolio.
