Maintenance Engineer

Temporary Ongoing Contract (Temp to Perm)

\n

Salary between £43300 - £43400 (overtime available)

\n

Shift Pattern: Rotating (06:00-14:30 / 14:30-23:00, Fridays 06:00-12:00 / 12:00-18:00)

\n

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing organisation based in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing team within a fast-paced production environment that values innovation, continuous improvement, and employee development.

\nKey Responsibilities:\n

\n
• Provide engineering support across a diverse range of machinery, including automated presses and robotic arms.

\n

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance in accordance with the site's maintenance schedule.

\n

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently to minimise production downtime.

\n

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities to ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards.

\n

• Participate in engineering improvement initiatives and contribute to solving complex technical challenges.

\n

\nCandidate Profile:\n

\n
• Demonstrable experience as a multi-skilled engineer within a manufacturing or production setting.

\n

• Strong fault-finding capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

\n

• Familiarity with PLC systems and robotic equipment is advantageous.

\n

• Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

\n

• Flexible and adaptable with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

\n
