Your responsibilities will include:Reactive and planned maintenance across automated conveyor and sortation systems.Mechanical fault finding on conveyors, monorail systems, pneumatics, bearings, belts, sprockets, and rollers (approx. 70–80% mechanical).Electrical fault finding using a multimeter, reading schematics, working in control panels, and changing drives and inverters.Monitoring PLC-controlled systems and supporting basic diagnostics (training provided).Working on equipment such as sorters, conveyors, barcode scanners, booms, and high-speed camera systems.What the client is looking forTo succeed as a Maintenance Engineer , you'll need:A recognised qualification in Engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, Apprenticeship or equivalent)Ability to fault find mechanically and electrically and be able to isolate equipment effectivelyConfidence working in a fast-paced environmentA proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on reliability rather than firefighting.If you think you're the right Maintenance Engineer for this role, apply today or contact or call .ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
