Maintenance Engineer\n\nLocation: Birmingham\n Salary: £50,000\n Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights)\n\nRole Overview\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, global manufacturing business within a highly regulated industrial environment.\n\nThis role is ideal for an engineer with both mechanical and electrical experience, looking to develop their career within a major brand offering long-term stability and progression.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production and site equipment\nDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime\nMaintain and troubleshoot industrial systems including steam, water, and associated utilities\nSupport the continuous operation of manufacturing processes in a high-performance production environment\nConduct equipment inspections and ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently\nAssist with installation, commissioning, and improvement of new and existing equipment\nWork collaboratively with production teams to drive reliability and efficiency improvements\nEnsure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company standards\nAccurately complete maintenance documentation and reports\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\nStrong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance\nExperience within a manufacturing or industrial environment\nKnowledge of steam systems, water systems, and industrial utilities\nProven ability in fault finding and problem solving\nExperience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment\nRelevant engineering qualification (NVQ, HNC/HND or equivalent)\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary of £50,000\nOpportunity to join a major, globally recognised manufacturing brand\nStrong opportunities for career development and progression\nOngoing training and upskilling within a technically advanced environment\n\nSummary\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer seeking a stable role with excellent earning potential and long-term career growth, working within a well-established and respected industrial operation
