A Dorset based food manufacturing company are looking to recruit a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer for their production facility based in the Poole / Bournemouth area.\n\nAs a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be part of a small team of shift engineers to provide engineering support to the production area and who are responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.\n\nThe site is part of a group of sites/businesses across the UK who are on a significant path for growth and development and so opportunities to progress are very real.\n\nRole:\n\nMulti skilled, either electrically or mechanically biased will be considered\nPanama shifts – Days and Nights (12 hour) 5.15 – 17.15 and 17.15 – 5.15\nOpportunity to work in a modern food manufacturer\nBenefits:\n\nSalary of c£52k \nSubsidised canteen\nOnsite free parking\nKey responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:\n\nAssist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised\nEnsure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full\nEnsure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed\nEnsure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS\nWork closely with production staff to achieve daily targets\nContribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements\nExperience and skills required of Maintenance Engineer:\n\nQualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level\nMulti skilled, electrically biased with some mechanical skills / experience\nApprenticeship trained\nProactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production\nManufacturing / production experience required\nTo apply\n\nIf you are an experienced multi skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge at a great company please apply, or if you need further information please contact Stuart Cooper.\n\n                                                                                                              Wagstaff Recruitment – Building Trusted Relationships to Create Great Opportunities
