Role: Maintenance Engineer (mechanical or Electrical)\nShift: Continental (Days & Nights)\nPay: circa £52,000 per annum\nLocation: Poole, Dorset\n\nAre you a maintenance engineer looking for your next challenge?\nDo you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have a passion for keeping production running smoothly?\n\nWe're working with a UK leading manufacturer with multiple sites across the UK, producing their well known brands who are recognised for its commitment to quality and innovation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join their engineering team, working on a continental shift pattern and playing a vital role in maintaining site performance.\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nCarrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and keep production on track.\n\nResponding to breakdowns, fault-finding, and repairing across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.\n\nUsing the site's CMMS (computerised maintenance management system) to record work, manage assets, and plan routines.\n\nSupporting continuous improvement projects and contributing ideas to enhance reliability and efficiency.\n\nWorking closely with the wider team to promote a positive, proactive engineering culture.\n\nWhat you'll need:\n\nProven experience as a maintenance engineer within a manufacturing environment.\n\nStrong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills.\n\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.\n\nFamiliarity with PLC-controlled and automated machinery (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar).\n\nRelevant engineering qualifications (apprentice trained, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).\n\nA team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.\n\nWhat you'll get in return:\n\nSalary circa £52,000 per annum.\n\nAccess to online and high-street discount schemes plus a range of employee benefits.\n\nA supportive team environment with genuine opportunities for development and progression.\n\nAre you up to the challenge?\nIf you're a proactive maintenance engineer looking for a secure role within a forward-thinking manufacturer, we'd love to hear from you.\n\nApply now to arrange a confidential call and discuss the full details
