We’re looking for a maintenance engineer to join our Assembly Operations in Banbury. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on maintenance and technical support to keep our production lines running safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help us hit key performance targets while driving innovation across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Providing day-to-day maintenance support on shift to ensure plant uptime and optimal performance
Diagnosing faults, carrying out preventative maintenance, and supporting installations of new equipment
Using and improving our CMMS system to track maintenance activity
Participating in plant audits, root cause analysis (8D, A3), and process improvement initiatives
Using escalation procedures to flag downtime, quality issues, or safety concerns
Experience and Qualifications
Time-served apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering
IOSH trained or committed to health & safety best practices
Strong communicator with good decision-making skills
Experienced with CMMS systems and preventative maintenance processes
Competent using Microsoft Office and familiar with technical documentation
Someone who is proactive, safety-conscious, and highly organised
A natural problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively
