An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team at a busy manufacturing site in Aberdeen.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a hands-on role, working across a range of production machinery while helping to keep the site running safely, efficiently and reliably.

The Role
\n
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of production machinery and site equipment.
\n
Your responsibilities will include:
\n

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- \n
Responding to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding and repairs.
- \n
Completing reactive and corrective maintenance.
- \n
Supporting both electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.
- \n
Supporting continuous improvement and engineering improvement projects.
- \n
Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
- \n
Ensuring machinery and equipment are maintained safely and efficiently.
- \n
Supporting the reliability and performance of production equipment.

\n
This is a fast-paced, hands-on engineering role where your experience and technical skills will have a direct impact on site performance.

Essential:
\n
- \n
- \n
A recognised Engineering qualification – Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent.
- \n
Previous experience working as an Engineer within an industrial, manufacturing or similar environment.
\n
\n
\n
Desirable:
\n
- \n
- \n
Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer.
- \n
Experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
- \n
Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
- \n
Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery.
- \n
Ability to fault find using PLC inputs and outputs.
- \n
Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- \n
Engineering experience gained within the Armed Forces is also welcomed.
