Job Description

Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their client's Aberdeen team - a leading Scottish provider of high-quality textile and linen services.

This is a hands-on role where you'll keep production running smoothly, minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement across the site. Your day-to-day duties will include, to:

    \n
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on all site equipment
  • \n

  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure equipment reliability
  • \n

  • Use CMMS to maintain accurate records and analyse maintenance data
  • \n

  • Support root cause analysis and improvements to prevent recurring issues
  • \n

  • Work closely with production teams to maintain consistent performance
  • \n

  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards
  • \n

  • Flexibility to work weekends when needed
  • \n

\n

To be successful in this Maintenance Engineer role, you will preferably have 5+ years mechanical and electrical engineering experience. Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:

  • Recognised engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent)
  • \n

  • Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience (industrial production or laundry experience advantageous)
  • \n

  • Confident using CMMS systems
  • \n

  • Proactive, hands-on, solution-oriented approach
  • \n

  • Strong communication skills and team player
  • \n

  • Driving licence essential
  • \n
