Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their client's Aberdeen team - a leading Scottish provider of high-quality textile and linen services.

And more!This is a hands-on role where you'll keep production running smoothly, minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement across the site. Your day-to-day duties will include, to:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on all site equipment
Respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure equipment reliability
Use CMMS to maintain accurate records and analyse maintenance data
Support root cause analysis and improvements to prevent recurring issues
Work closely with production teams to maintain consistent performance
Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards
Flexibility to work weekends when neededTo be successful in this Maintenance Engineer role, you will preferably have 5+ years mechanical and electrical engineering experience. Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:
Recognised engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent)
Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience (industrial production or laundry experience advantageous)
Confident using CMMS systems
Proactive, hands-on, solution-oriented approach
Strong communication skills and team player
