Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer\n\nLeeds area\n\n£50K-53K per annum\n\nThe Role\n\nWe are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated FMCG manufacturing facility in South Leeds. Working in a team of 4 engineers (alongside a senior engineer), you will provide electrical and mechanical support to ensure production runs smoothly across a fast-paced environment.\n\nThis is a hands-on engineering role involving both reactive and planned maintenance, with excellent opportunities to develop your skills in automation and Siemens S7 systems.\n\nShifts: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off\n Salary: £50,000 - £53,000 per annum (up to £57,000 for exceptional candidates) + Annual Pay Review\n Location: Large-scale manufacturing site in South Leeds\n Benefits: 21 shifts holiday, company pension, structured training and development\n\nResponsibilities\n\nCarry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of packaging, filling, sealing, and capping equipment.\nWork as part of a team of 4 engineers across rotating shifts.\nTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, ensuring minimum downtime.\nSupport continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and food manufacturing standards.\nLiaise with production teams and senior engineers to prioritise tasks effectively. Candidate Profile\n\nFMCG or high-volume manufacturing experience (essential).\nMulti-skilled engineer - electrically biased , but mechanically biased with solid electrical knowledge will also be considered.\nStrong knowledge of electrical systems, fault finding, and automation equipment.\nGood problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.\nFlexible team player with excellent communication skills.
