The Role



We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated FMCG manufacturing facility in South Leeds. Working in a team of 4 engineers (alongside a senior engineer), you will provide electrical and mechanical support to ensure production runs smoothly across a fast-paced environment.



This is a hands-on engineering role involving both reactive and planned maintenance, with excellent opportunities to develop your skills in automation and Siemens S7 systems.



Shifts: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off

Salary: £50,000 - £53,000 per annum (up to £57,000 for exceptional candidates) + Annual Pay Review

Location: Large-scale manufacturing site in South Leeds

Responsibilities



Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of packaging, filling, sealing, and capping equipment.

Work as part of a team of 4 engineers across rotating shifts.

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, ensuring minimum downtime.

Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food manufacturing standards.

Liaise with production teams and senior engineers to prioritise tasks effectively. Candidate Profile



FMCG or high-volume manufacturing experience (essential).

Multi-skilled engineer - electrically biased , but mechanically biased with solid electrical knowledge will also be considered.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fault finding, and automation equipment.

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Flexible team player with excellent communication skills. What's on Offer
