Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

A well-established leading company based outside of York is looking for an experienced, highly motivated multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join the business. Preferably with experience from a manufacturing or distribution sector background. This is a varied role, over a large site with a dynamic, friendly environment.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Deliver effective support in checking, repairing and servicing machinery equipment system and infrastructures.

\n

• Ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably including planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance

\n

• Ensure full plant working with reactive and PPM and strong Health and Safety awareness

\n

• Assist with calibrating fixed and portable temperature monitoring equipment

\n

• To ensure that machinery and equipment run smoothly and reliably

\n

This role is working a 4 on/off continental DAYS shift pattern - 6am - 6pm.
