What you’ll be doing:

- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of food production machinery
\n - Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns to reduce downtime
\n - Working closely with production teams to maintain peak operational performance
\n - Supporting continuous improvement and factory development projects
\n - Assisting with equipment installation and commissioning
\n - Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with food safety and hygiene standards

What we’re looking for:

- Experience in a maintenance engineering role – food or FMCG background ideal
\n - Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills (including pneumatics and hydraulics)
\n - A proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n - Flexibility to work shifts and support production as needed
\n - Engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or similar) desirable, but practical experience equally valued
