Maintenance Engineer

Seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrically biased) to join their established engineering team. You’ll play a key role in keeping the operations running smoothly, working across both proactive and reactive maintenance activities.

4 on, 4 off shift pattern – rotating days and nights (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer:



Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on plant, equipment, and systems

Minimise downtime by working towards maximum equipment efficiency

Support delivery of planned engineering tasks on time and in full

Maintain documentation and CMMS records accurately

Collaborate closely with production teams to meet daily targets

Follow best practices in repair, manufacturing processes, and health & safety

Contribute to ongoing cost-reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For:



Apprenticeship trained engineer

Recognised qualifications – City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or ideally ONC / HNC

Multi-skilled with an electrical bias

Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

Experience in manufacturing or production environments is essential
