Maintenance Engineer – Part Time (2 Days per Week)

Location: Exeter

Environment: Commercial Building

Hours: 2 days per week (flexible days)

Pay: Competitive hourly rate, flexible.



We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join one of our clients in Exeter, working within a commercial environment. The role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and responding to reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth running and safety of the site.



Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled PPMs on building systems and equipment



*



Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns



*



Carry out basic electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance tasks



*



Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard



*



Record and report maintenance activities



Requirements:



*



NVQ Level 3 in either Electrical or Mechanical discipline



*



Proven experience in a similar maintenance role (commercial or building services)



*



Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance procedures



*



Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge



*



Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
