Maintenance Electrician - London and Surrounding Areas\n\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading Facilities Services provider, working across London and the surrounding areas. \nThe ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance or equivalent, and 18th Edition as a minimum. In addition, candidates must hold either City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection or Solar PV certification.

\nThe role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of sites including schools, commercial premises, and large-scale facilities. This is primarily a maintenance and reactive role, with minimal installation work.\n\nDuties:\n\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance to agreed timescales.\nSupport with fault finding and repairs in plant rooms and on electrical systems across client sites.\nAssist in minor project works and provide technical support where required.\nComplete all required paperwork and reporting accurately and on time.\nWork collaboratively with colleagues and clients to maintain high standards of service delivery.\nParticipate in the company's call-out rota, responding to urgent reactive issues as required.\nEnsure all tools, equipment, and company vehicle are kept in good condition and serviceable.\nRepresent the company in a professional manner at all times and uphold company standards.\n\nQualifications & Experience:\n\nNVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or recognised apprenticeship equivalent.\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).\nEither City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection or Solar PV certification (mandatory).\nStrong background in electrical maintenance and fault finding.\nExperience working within commercial environments such as schools or large facilities.\nMust hold a full UK driving licence and be able to pass enhanced DBS checks due to school contracts.\n\nSalary / Package:\n\nBasic Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (dependent on skillset & qualifications).\n20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.\nDoor-to-door paid travel.\nCompany van & fuel card provided (option for private use).\nPension scheme & discretionary benefits.\nStandard hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch).\nParticipation in a call-out rota with additional payments.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with strong growth plans, offering varied work across London and the surrounding areas, with opportunities for further development and progression.\n\nIf this could be of interest, please apply today.\n\nMaintenance Electrician \n\nMaintenance Electrician \n\nMainteannce Electrician \n\nMaintenance Electrician \n\nCalibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their , race, , religion/beliefs, sexual or .
