Maintenance Electrician\n\nLocation: Edinburgh, EH2 2LL\n\nHours of Work: 40\n\nContract Type: Permanent\n\nISS, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our supportive and friendly team, working in a relaxed and collaborative environment where everyone helps one another.\n\nYou’ll be based in a modern, spacious building, with full support to get to know the site and access to training opportunities to upskill and advance in your career.\n\nJob Description\n\nIn this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering mechanical, electrical and building services engineering maintenance across the client site.\n\nThis includes fault finding, repairs, planned and reactive maintenance, and installations – all to deliver a world-class building services maintenance service.\n\nThis is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who wants to develop further while being part of a team that values collaboration, quality and professional growth.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Carry out electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works within set timeframes to exceed customer expectations\n\n * Undertake wider building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC and mechanical tasks\n\n * Provide call-out response as part of the rota and ensure all equipment operates to specified performance standards\n\n * Oversee contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing permits to work\n\n * Ensure compliance with company standards, contractual requirements and all health & safety regulations\n\n * Maintain accurate records, complete administration on time, and liaise proactively with clients\n\n * Identify and suggest service improvements and innovations to enhance delivery\n\nProfessional and Personal Competencies / Qualifications\n\n * FM background with knowledge of boilers, HVAC systems, AC and plant rooms\n\n * Experience across multiple trades with a flexible approach to related tasks such as office moves and fabric works\n\n * Fully qualified electrician with 18th Edition certification\n\n * City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical Installation\n\n * City & Guilds 2391 in Testing & Inspection (or willingness to complete training)\n\nThe Company\n\nISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
