SUMMARY
Maintenance is responsible for maintaining the restaurants overall cleanliness and appearance of the common areas, restrooms, and parking lot of the center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains all common areas of the center, including the guests restrooms and parking lots, to the standards set by the company for cleanliness and appearance.
- Supports the maintenance staff as directed by the General Manager.
- Performs all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards.
- Assists customers as appropriate, always maintaining a positive friendly and helpful attitude.
- Maintains working knowledge and familiarity of all safety and emergency procedures established for the Restaurant.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area in all custodial storage areas.
- Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.
- Sanitizes all tables and chairs and maintains the proper placement of all tables and chairs.
- Collects dirty food trays and re-distributes them after proper cleaning and sanitation.
- Ensures food area is clean, empty trash, wash windows, doors, clean floors and cleans spills.
- Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.)
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Ability to comprehend instruction.
- Ability to effectively respond to issues both verbally and in writing.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
- Demonstrate the ability to work well within a given time frame.
- Must be able to work independently and take initiative.
- Requires attention to detail.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, or carrying products at waist level, weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Constant standing and/or walking for a period of up to 8 hours a day or more.
- Frequent use of hands and reaching above shoulder levels.
- Frequent stooping, bending at the waist, kneeling.
