Position Summary
The Maintenance Director provides hands-on leadership and oversight of all maintenance, housekeeping, and environmental services within the community. This role ensures that the facility, grounds, and equipment are safe, functional, and well-maintained, supporting a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for , staff, and visitors.
Reports To
Executive Director and contracted Plant Operations Manager
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Prior experience in healthcare maintenance or plant operations management strongly
-
No record of abuse, neglect, mistreatment, or misappropriation of property
-
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to read, write, follow written/oral instructions, and perform basic calculations
-
Working knowledge of sanitation, safety, and building maintenance practices
-
Hands-on skills in general maintenance, housekeeping, and facility repair
-
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage, train, and motivate maintenance and housekeeping staff
Physical Requirements

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, reach, crouch, kneel, balance, push, pull, and lift heavy objects (up to 75–100 lbs. as needed)

Work may involve heights, moving machinery, and driving equipment

Exposure to dust, fumes, gases, chemicals, and fluctuating temperatures/humidity

Availability for extended hours and emergency call-ins
Working Conditions
