Maintenance Crew Leader / Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Maintenance Crew Leader/Supervisor to lead and coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations at a 350-unit mobile home neighborhood. The ideal candidate will manage a small team (2–3 maintenance technicians) and ensure the community’s infrastructure and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and attractive year-round.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct a team of 2–3 maintenance personnel.
- Schedule and prioritize daily maintenance tasks across the property.
- Oversee and perform upkeep of community infrastructure including:
- Road and surface repairs
- Pipe and utility system maintenance (excluding mobile homes)
- Lawn care and landscaping
- Snow removal and plowing during winter months
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Monitor supply inventory and coordinate with management for equipment and materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance standards.
- Communicate effectively with and property management regarding service updates and ongoing work.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in general maintenance, landscaping, or infrastructure repair.
- Prior leadership experience in a crew or supervisory role strongly .
- Strong working knowledge of tools, equipment, and techniques used in road, pipe, and grounds maintenance.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as plows, mowers, and utility vehicles.
- Basic plumbing, electrical, or mechanical repair skills a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
This is a temp-to-hire position, with a 90-day evaluation period. Strong candidates will be eligible to be hired full-time sooner if they demonstrate a strong fit for the role. Health insurance and 401k options are available for full-time once eligible.
