We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance/Boiler Technician to join our team at our residential cooperative. In this role, you will be responsible for the general upkeep and repair of our buildings and boilers

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and basic carpentry skills.

• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address issues in a professional and timely manner.

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common area and grounds.

• Maintain and organize maintenance supplies and equipment.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have Certificate of Fitness for Low Pressure Oil Burner Operator (P-99)

• Proven experience in a maintenance or handyman role, preferably in a residential setting.

• Solid knowledge of general repair techniques and a variety of maintenance skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A valid driver's license.

• Proficiency in English
