About the Role:

Hayden Grove of St. Anthony is seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will assist the Maintenance Director in the upkeep of facilities, performing routine repairs, work orders, and maintaining an overall safe environment for the , guests and team members. If you have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and a passion for hands-on work, this position is ideal for you!

Maintenance/Caretaker Job Details:

• Hours: 8am-4pm / 20 hours/week

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Experience working in a multi-unit residential setting
• Possess a general understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled work hours
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Demonstrates good judgement, problem solving and decision making skills
• As applicable, all team members who drive a DOT authorized vehicle must complete DOT testing and understand the key essential duties for safety and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the maintenance and repair of our properties
• Perform routine inspections of our properties to identify any maintenance issues
• Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
• Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard

Skills:

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with our maintenance team and . You will also use your technical skills to assist with the maintenance and repair of our properties. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
