The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for performing routine maintenance and light repairs throughout the dealership to ensure a clean, safe, and operational environment for customers and employees. This role supports general upkeep of the property and facilities, both inside and outside.

Maintenance Assistant

The Paretti Family of Dealerships is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall upkeep and functionality of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, painting, cleaning, and repairing equipment.
• Assist in the inspection of buildings and facilities, identify any maintenance issues, and report findings to the maintenance supervisor.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance-related services.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and request additional items as needed.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a maintenance or similar role is , but not required.
• Ability to handle basic power tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
