Your Role as a Maintenance Apprentice:

• Key Responsibilities: In addition to supporting the clerical work for the maintenance department, the Maintenance Apprentice will be trained to complete lite repair work within the facility.
  • Provide clerical and office support for the maintenance department.
  • Assist with full maintenance inventory management, ordering parts, scheduling/entering Preventative Maintenance (PMs), completing PMs, organizational task, etc.
  • Complete tasks in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Train and learn how to complete lite repair work within the facility, maintain and perform preventive/predictive maintenance tasks.
• Skills Required: Intermediate math skills, Computer skills, Tablet/iPad skills, Microsoft Office Suite (required); Navision Software experience (). Accounting skills a plus.
• Qualifications: High school diploma (or equivalent); basic maintenance knowledge and customer service skills including telephone. 2+ years experience utilizing hand tools in a mechanically related position. 1+ year experience in an administrative or purchasing position.

Physical Requirements:

• Typing, sitting, walking, frequent lifting (up to 50lbs), bending, twisting, climbing, and frequent standing.

Work Environment:

• Primarily in a bakery manufacturing setting, office setting.
