Newell Corporation is currently hiring a Maintenance and Safety Manager to join our growing team.

As a Maintenance and Safety Manager at Newell, you will be responsible for managing and completing repairs for customers as well as internal projects. You will also manage company-wide safety programs.

Maintenance/Millwright responsibilities:

• Develop and manage customer relationships to promote incoming repair work.
• Quote mechanical repair work and respond to customer inquiries.
• Set up work orders and coordinate with shop managers to complete repair work.
• Interface with customers regarding project technical/quality aspects and schedule.
• Complete hands-on project work as needed.
• Coordinate shipments and document delivery to customers.

Safety Management responsibilities:

• Adjust, develop, and maintain internal safety programs.
• Develop and lead internal employee safety training sessions.
• Maintain and ensure safety compliance with overhead lifting equipment.
• Provide companywide safety leadership.

Skills/Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience maintaining and repairing CNC Machines
• 5+ years’ experience repairing and rebuilding heavy equipment components such as rock crushers, winches, gear boxes, or similar
• 3+ years’ experience in a leadership or training capacity
• Experience with industrial plant operations related to removing and installing equipment
• Experience training others in safety and best practices when using overhead lifting equipment and rigging
• Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated ability to adhere to company safety policies as well as local, state, and federal safety standards

Pay Range: $35/hr - $45/hr, plus performance-based bonuses

Estimated total financial compensation between $75,000 - $120,000 annually

Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k w/ up to 5% employer match, paid holidays, and paid time off.

Newell offers a wide variety of welding, fabricating, machining, and assembly services at our facility located in Arlington, WA as well as our customers' facilities along the I5 corridor.
