We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general repairs and maintenance, with the ability to handle a wide range of tasks including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and other building maintenance work. This role requires someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and improvements on properties.

• Handle plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains, and repairing water lines.

• Complete carpentry work including framing, drywall installation/repair, door and window repairs, cabinetry, and shelving.

• Conduct basic electrical repairs such as replacing outlets, light fixtures, and switches (within non-licensed scope).

• Perform painting, patching, and finishing work as needed.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe, clean, and operational condition.

• Respond to work orders in a timely manner and ensure quality workmanship.

• Assist in preventative maintenance schedules and seasonal property upkeep.

• Communicate effectively with management, tenants, and property owners regarding repairs and project status.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and general building systems.

• Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely.

• Understanding of safety procedures, building codes, and repair techniques.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certifications a plus.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

• Comfortable working on ladders and in varying weather conditions.

• Able to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
