About the Role:
The Maintenance position within the Wholesale Trade industry at MMC is a critical role focused on ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of all facility equipment and infrastructure. The primary objective is to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to minimize downtime and support the overall productivity of the organization. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they escalate, thereby safeguarding the safety and functionality of the workplace environment. The Maintenance professional will collaborate closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to business operations. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to maintaining a safe, reliable, and well-functioning facility that supports the company’s wholesale trade activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance work, preferably within a wholesale trade or industrial environment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate maintenance equipment safely.
Qualifications:
- Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours or be on-call for emergency repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and other facility equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues promptly to reduce operational downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status to ensure compliance and facilitate future servicing.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations as needed.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

The required skills such as electrical, mechanical, and plumbing knowledge are applied daily to inspect, diagnose, and repair facility systems ensuring operational continuity.
