Raw Machinery is a family owned and operated business.

Seeking a full-time Machinist/Welder for our hydraulic department. Must have experience with mig and stick welding.

experience with manual mill and manual lathe. experience with line bore welding and line bore machining.

Full-Time Position:

Experienced Machinist/Welder

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of Position include but are not limited to:

- Safety – conduct all activities in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to company policy

- Setup, adjust and operate machines: lathes, mills, grinders, drills, etc.

- Read, interpret and work from blueprints

- Calculate and hold close tolerance dimensions

- Use various measuring gauges to inspect parts to ensure adherence to drawing tolerances

- Accurately diagnose tool wear and make required adjustments and/or changes

- Maintain and clean tools and work space daily

- Assist when needed with other miscellaneous duties, as assigned

Must be able to:

- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments

- Operate a variety of power/air tools and shop equipment

- Pay close attention to detail

- Lift various amounts of weight (50lbs + )

- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with co-workers and supervisor

- Work closely and maintain clear communication with direct supervisor

- Maintain a good attendance record

Qualifications:

- Work related experience must consist of hands-on machinist work, 2 years+ is

- Certified Welder is

Immediate hire, with majority of work hours 6:30am - 5pm, Monday - Thursday (4-10 schedule), no travel required, shop located in Shepherd, MT.

Wage is hourly and will depend on experience. Benefits available include: PTO, health insurance, AFLAC and 401(k) with profit sharing and matching.
