SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Machine Operator position is the start of the manufacturing process. Operators will need to learn the basic ability to identify X, Y, Z, B, and C axes in 4 and 5 axis machines. This position will operate at our Wilsonville, OR location. He/she is responsible for running multiple and varying CNC machines simultaneously, in addition to loading parts for manufacturing and adhering to all work instructions. Previous experience with CNC Machining in a manufacturing work environment is not required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• The Machine Operator reports directly to the area Supervisor.
• Load parts for 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC Machines
• Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
• Monitors the machine and tools to ensure proper performance.
• Completes work orders, inspection documentation, and daily preventative maintenance sheets.
• Makes tool adjustments with moderate supervision.
• Promote health and safety of self and co-workers
• Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Completes all required training.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Operating machinery from a standing position
• Constantly positions self to operate machinery in a variety of configurations.
• Constantly visually inspect parts
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds
