Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Press Operator to join our Weimar, Texas, manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating injection and compression presses to produce high-quality products. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 0–3 years of experience looking to grow their career in a stable, production-driven environment.

Essential Functions

• Machine Operation: Safely and consistently operate mechanical equipment, including injection press, compression press, alternate press, overhead hoists, and pallet jacks.
• Quality & Precision: Produce products within strict specifications and production requirements; effectively utilize measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, standard work procedures, and job safety standards, including the consistent use of required PPE.
• Maintenance Support: Actively support preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment longevity and minimal downtime.
• Communication: Maintain effective and efficient communication with teammates and management to meet daily production demands.
• Inventory Integrity: Maintain clear product identification and traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
• Environment: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace at all times.

Additional Requirements

• Logistics: Transport materials to and from designated areas; capable of obtaining forklift certification.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively in a team environment with both internal and external resources.
• Administration: Support internal, external, and quality audits; maintain housekeeping as designated.
• Soft Skills: Demonstrate effective time management, basic computer/arithmetic skills, and the ability to function with occasional supervision while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (relevant work experience may be considered instead of education).
• Experience: 0–3 years of job-related experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Communication: Basic oral and written communication skills.
• Physical: Ability to perform manual labor as required in a warehouse/plant environment.

1st and 2nd shift positions are available.
