MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF RECENT MACHINE OPERATING EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is looking for a Bilingual English/Spanish Machine Operator to join a leading mattress manufacturing company in Waco, TX!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm

Machine Operator Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• The job is heavy and fast-paced, requiring physical stamina and focus.
• Ability to work in different areas of the facility and operate different machines as needed
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to perform rapid physical work, including standing for long periods and moving around the production floor
• Must have steel-toe shoes – other PPE provided on site
• Prior experience in roles such as Production Operator, Manufacturing Associate, Foam Production Operator, or Industrial Machine Operator is a big plus!

Machine Operator Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines that cut foam blocks into specific shapes and sizes for mattress production.
• Ensure the smooth operation of machinery, making adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Verify the quality and consistency of foam materials before and during the cutting process, ensuring they meet required specifications.
• Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, pressure, temperature) to accommodate different foam types or product requirements.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished foam products for defects, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards before use in mattress production.
