We want YOU to join our industry-leading team in Taylor TX! We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator (Letter Mold Maker).
Responsibilities
- Reviews work orders to ensure familiarization with job requirements and discusses requirements with team members.
- Able to program layouts for production as needed. Capable of using software to determine cutting paths, speeds, passes, & tools size for production along with generating routing paths for tooling.
- Ability to utilize shop tools such as grinders, saws, and hand tools to complete wooden molds.
- Repairs broken molds in a timely manner to assure a minimum of disruption of the molding process.
- May develop mold components, ensuring that all parts fit together without apparent seams.
- Inspects work periodically and upon completion of the mold to ensure dimensional compliance with work order.
- Perform routine operator maintenance to equipment & set up of equipment.
- The work environment is clean, bright, and hot around equipment.
- Reporting to our Plant Supervisor
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent demonstrated competency through work experience.
- Above average skills in communication, interpersonal relationships, & customer service.
- Well organized, with good software skills and familiarity with computer database usage and internet file transfer.
- Ability to learn & utilize CAD/CAM & graphics software.
